Tune for me!
I never reinstalled the JB Stage 1. Used the MHD to diagnose and clear trouble codes for a while. Pulled the MDesign carbon/silicon intake with cheap/busted/all-tore-up 3D-printed scoop adapter. Re-installed stock intake with K&N Drop-in. Codes went away, car ran great, got a little bonus $$$. I downloaded and installed MHD Stage1+ (ACN91.) I know it's working because I can adjust the duration of my exhaust burbles... Feels a lot like it did when I first swapped the charge pipe: More power under the curve, but a smoother curve. Pulls strong everywhere. Sounds great. That was back in June. Since then, I've had nothing but trouble-free, code-free, dependable, POWERFUL thrust out of this little beast. Very much pleased. I haven't even had much door insanity this summer!

fuckin'a
gotta love a well running 1er If you haven't already, it's very much worth the cost to pick up the Monitor license for MHD- lets you log and adds the gauges. I'm hardwired, and have the cable over by the ashtray/center console- super handy...

But I couldn't get the OBD port to charge my phone, so I'd still go swapping cables all the time. Played with it once, but couldn't get the gauges I wanted on one page, large enough to be useful. May try again, to see if it'll be worth my while. |

In my particular case it's only connected as needed/randomly for logging or to monitor whatever squeaky wheel is bothering me at the moment, so charging isn't a worry...
If it was, I'd probably do a mount with wireless charging built in. As for number of gauges, I was never really one to have more than three so they fit fine. That said, next best thing is to set the single, double, triple etc views up, and then switch between them as desired- the config is static, and jumping between them is pretty quick. Going beyond that you're looking for a larger screen solution of some kind...
