Only problem within 6 months of delivery Camaros will be everywhere, like Mustangs. I see maybe two or three 1-series a week here in Houston.

LOL .. not really ... Having owned Cobra's and Camaros in the past .. they have been just as engaging to drive as the 135i ... (and built just as good as well) ..

Is the wait as hard as it was for the 135?

I don't get that argument. The iPhone is a dime a dozen and still rocks beyond belief. I love my 135i but would also be very interested in a Camaro SS stick.

Is the 3 series less desirable too?

If it's a good product at the right price...people will buy them, Yes. But there's still something to say for the feeling of exclusivity.

IMO GM kicked themselves in the ass by delaying the Z28 indefinitely.
The SS will be "ok" if you can overlook the cheap GM build quality. When they came out and said in this economy, americans aren't looking for a low mpg sports car (referring to the Z28) I lost even more hope for them.

I hear there are a few deals to be had out there .. but not too many.

Anyone who pays sticker for a car from the worst depreciating company in the country is out of their mind. Camaros are on every street corner in Houston. NOTHING special about them to draw MSRP...much less over!!!

Now if they were to come out with a Trans Am....ohhhh boy....
What if you could afford a M3..thats a V8 too...
If you sell the 1er for a Trans Am I shotty all of your SGM parts.

And you didnt like the look of the I-ROC Camaros when they werent being driven by dudes with mullets?

LOL....Nah I won't be trading the 1er for a Trans Am...I would seriously consider getting a G8 GT as a grocery getter (as a second car...not trading the 1er for anything less than a E92 M3 in SGM).

Yes .. I sold the 135i in May and got the SS in June. Currently have a magnacharger 2300, 6lb pulley, ARH Long Tubes w/ cats, Magnaflow 3" catback and ADM Air Intake. She makes 553rwhp and 508rwtq .. Thinking about upping the boost to 8lbs to make about 580rwhp and 540rwtq ..

Mine is a Silver 2SS/RS
