Man, don't fub it in too much  I couldn't get off work to do it. I have to try to schedule my days out of our office 6mo in advance due to how patients are scheduled.

It came in early.... I've been driving it almost a week now. Just shy of 600 miles.

This thing is awesome! I was worried about the AC, but its really nice.

Still haven't seen any besides my self on the roads. Maybe I'm the first in the area.

cool, mine should be here this weekend and I'll pick it up at the first of next week. I'm probably going to tape up the font end or not drive it at all until I get paint protection done which should be the following week in Tulsa. I can't wait!! We will have to meet up because I would love to check out your ride with the active steering :headbang:

I actually picked my car up on the day of my last post here. It has maybe 160 miles on her now, but I'm being as easy as I can before I put a clear bra on her next Wednesday. Anyone other than Reaper and myself have theirs yet? Here are some pics...already started modding....I guess I just couldn't stand it after all. UUC EVO3 will be here next Thursday!!! I'll take more pics this weekend if weather permits.

btw...love the grill. Does it feel more solid than the chrome one? (Like when you're washing/handling it)

It feels the same. What I like about it is that the surround is gloss black like the window trim, and the inner part of the grill is a flat black. I thought about putting the chrome grills in the gloss black surrounds to see how it would look.

^ CONGRATS!

I had mine with the black outers (DIY painted) and chrome innards for about 2 years, I preferred it because the headlights are black/chrome. But then my DIY paint job was looking like crap and after I fixed it and went to put them back in, I broke 2 of the tabs. So now I'm using a spare set of black/black aftermarkets from a friend, I don't think my OEM chromes will fit in them. They are not a perfect fit, but better than rolling around ghetto w/o any like I was for about 2 weeks...

/hijack

Try them with the chrome slats, I bet you'll like it!

I think the full shadowline grills look great on AW. I'm thinking I'm just going to stay stock on my SGM as I think the chrome provides a nice contrast to the dark grey.

Sweet, I wondered who ended up with that car. That car is interesting because the Terra interior is supposed to be a priority 1 option only, but somehow they got one on their lot for sale. I'm going to try to make it to the BMW autoX on Saturday and hang out. Can't run my car yet...still breaking her in. Congrats on the car!!

I've got 300 miles until I finish the break-in. I may drive to Tulsa Friday so I had better get some oil and a filter to change the oil.

Well, I finally picked up my 135i coupe this past week and it's every bit of awesome as you guys have described it. I'll be arriving in Enid next week so we'll definately have to do a meet or something with all the OKC guys.

I'm interested in putting a clear bra on my car. Do any of you guys have recommendations for products and installers down in the OKC area?

I'd love to meet up!!! As for the clear bra, I had mine done in Tulsa. There is a guy that Jackie Cooper BMW uses. You could probably get his name from them. You are going to be living in Enid, right? We should get a group of us 1er's to go to the car show in Choctaw in September!!

Yep I'm up in Enid now. I'll have to get a hold of Jackie Cooper and see who they use, unless you think your guy in Tulsa might be worth the drive over them. It's not much farther from Enid to Tulsa than from Enid to OKC anyway. That car show sounds awesome, but I'm going to be out of town for all of September unfortunately.

PS Pics of the car are in my post over in the photo/vid forum.

I paid list for mine, but I ordered it pretty early since I needed a car. I couldn't justify waiting another couple of months over a few hundred dollars. Welcome to the forum!!! I was just in your neck of the woods and saw a cashmere silver vert at the nusery I was at. Cool to see them on the road.
