Rear sway/ stabilizer bar, how to attach it?

Hey guys I've seen a few diy's but they mostly cover this install from the perspective of a car that came with the rear sway bar. My 128i did not. I've got a 15mm bar and the brackets to attach it at the subframe, but where do the end links connect? Do I need to order bolts to connect it? None of the pics I've seen offer any real insight.

Thx in advance for any tips. I'll be having a lot of free time soon and would like to spend way too long installing this "upgrade".

Cheers.

Part #6 is the bolt, there's a threaded hole on the knuckle that it threads into.

Make sure you also upgrade the front bar and keep the rear bar as small as you possibly can to reduced unwanted inside wheel spin and keep the rear suspension as independent as possible.

Will do. I'm going to either do the M3 bar or the e9x xi bar. Third party is nice but the oem's can be had on the cheap.

You probably know this - the standard sport package rear arb is 12mm. 15mm is something like 1.4x stiffer if they are both solid, which I think is the case.

I put a OE 13mm on my non-sport package car which is about 37% stiffer than stock. Upgraded the front arb to the 135i bar (it's got about 5"less taper in the middle) Car is really nicely balanced.

Point is if you're going with 15mm rear, get something pretty beefy for the front.

An E93 M3 front bar works very nicely with a 15mm. rear bar. Inside rear wheel spin is taken care of by a Wavetrac diff.
