3.46 Diff swap in MT 135i

The MT has 3.08s in it. I am pretty sure you can put the auto trans diff in it which has 3.46 gears . The only difference is the gears.

Is this possible, has anyone done it?

Mods, I am sorry I put this in the 128 section. Can you move it to the 135 section please?
