BMW custom resonator location placement??

hi guys I'm wondering if anyone has put a different resonator on there car yet. I'm thinking of buy a resonator for my car for drone my car is currently almost straight piped no secondary cats no resonator or muffler and it's a 3inch pipe I'm thinking of putting a ultra quiet vibrant resonator to reduce the drone in the cabin. the car has a custom Y pipe where the resonator was

Yeah I think this is actually the exact one I'm looking to get too. The guy I bought my headers from recommended this + a Borla muffler. Vibrant makes great stuff.

Worst case just rip it off and go with another muffler and/or resonator - this is a lot cheaper than any off the shelf exhaust systems.

what section of the exhaust system are you planning on putting the resonator?

Jeez if this is who i think it it what's up danny lmaoo. But as you know, I used your flomaster to get rid of drone after headers. If you needed a spot to throw on the res, I would go wherever you can find a long enough straight section in the midpipe section.

yup it is me smear and I'm think in this region in particular I had my car on a lift recently seems like it should fit here

Yah it should fit fine, just make sure length works out. Keep in mind the once you reach that muffler delete section it isn't straight there's a bend in it. Nothing Bob's can take care of
