I opened this page, saw a black 135i 'vert, and then KER-CHOW, a glowing yellow 'vert appeared as soon as I touched the scroll wheel I still think THAT was a huge transformation...

It is as close to my 1er as budget allows but I just booked my eurotrip flights with my wife.
I also reserved a rental car at N-Rent at the Nurburgring. BMW 330ci E46 6MT.

If you have seen any of my threads....You will see I have been through hell and back trying to find a set of these. I thought I had some, and actually turned another member on here to a pair I found so that he could get some skirts as well....then my parts fell through and I was left hanging. If you EVER decide to sell them, please let me know!!!!!

When I seen the set on the auction site, I PM'd that user and turned him on to them. Then my set came in and were wrong. Then I was told to send them back and they didn't offer the others anymore. So here I am with nothing when I should have went ahead and bought the set off of the auction site. But I was trying to be nice and helpful....so I hope karma eventually repays me! But I have called everyone in the country, and can't find them. |

Sick of breaking skid plates. So looking and planning something more robust. Found a EU company (ONLY company I can find) that makes a steel one --> https://www.skid-plate.com/skid-plat...seria-1-e81e87
But far too heavy IMO. Really only planning because of cost and reoccurring cost. I found a replacement plastic chepo for about $60 shipped. BMW one is about $180. So that's kinda the range I'm shooting in-between. And in my searching I found out the E9x M3 has a nifty setup I'd like to mimic: |

I took your advice and switched out my grills today. I might like the full black grills more, now that I have the black handles. I may have to go ahead and do the performance side skirts.

BTW, I forgot to mention this earlier, but comfort access door handles apparently can't be painted, so you order them painted from the factory. Well, I waited for months to see a set of used gloss black show up on eBay (they're very expensive new,) but only black sapphire ever showed up, so I just said "screw it" and bought gloss black handles without comfort access. I don't mind pushing a button to unlock the doors. lol I'd tried getting my handles wrapped in the past, but they ended up peeling a little, and it just felt "fake." Lol I bought a set of performance side skirt replicas when I first bought my car over 3 years ago. They're still sitting in the garage waiting for paint lol
