OEM 1M Wheels manufacturer?

Hey guys,

Some guy at my dad's workplace keeps telling him that HRE were the ones that made the wheels on the 1M (manufactured them) and I told him that it wasn't possible...

Any ideas on your side as to who made them? BMW themselves? Sub-contractor?

Cheers!

Garage List
BBS makes a number of BMW's wheels, however most of them are the forged styles; most recently the Style 219M. As the larger, y-spoke Style 359M wheels are cast, BBS is not the manufacturer, nor is HRE.

219Ms had a "BBS" stamp/imprint on the inner face but I've not seen the equivalent on the 359s.

I thought it was Ronal. Fairly sure I've seen they're name stamped on the inside of 261s

No way HRE made BMW's 359 M wheels!

Not HRE for sure. Their cast stuff is recent. These wheels came out around 2009
