It does have that.
No, it has the duration adjustment. I'm talking about the burble aggressiveness

Good information for people who want quiet cold starts or in the future if I want to quiet it down though. Seems like a problem in the tune unless it adapts on its own which I haven't witnessed but I only waited 2 or 3 days before switching cold start mode back on.
Mine never smoothed itself out after a bunch of starts. Turned the cold start back on and it was fine. Went on vacation a couple of weeks ago and had to leave at 5am one morning so I turned it back off as to not be an asshole and it no longer stalled. It's been off since and been fine

Hi guys, I did some logs this weekend for the first time. I tried to provide as much information as I could remember in the title. I believe the 10PM ones are the better runs because it was cooler out, and I also think had traction control off, not sure if there is a way to tell from the log?

I honestly have no idea how to read the graphs, and what numbers to look for. If some of you more experiences guys could please take a look, and let me know your thoughts, I would really appreciate it!

Generally looks ok. There are some timing corrections of 5-6 across multiple cylinders which usually isn't what you want though. When was the last time you changed plugs/coils?

Thanks for checking the logs out! I bought the car used with 23k, and now the car has 29k. I don't know if previous owner changed plugs/coils and haven't done so either. Would that be the cause for the timing corrections? If so, does it cause damage to the engine if I go WOT or even regular cruising its bad? Would spark plugs only need to be changed or all coil packs as well?

Yeah, timing corrections are usually caused by plugs/coils. At 29k, your coils are probably ok, but I doubt your plugs have ever been replaced. With a Stage 2+ tune, the plugs are going to get worn out faster than stock, and it's recommended to replace them every 15k. Also, the tune increases boost pressure, which increases the air density in the cylinder. Because of this, there is more resistance for the arc to overcome, so it helps to close the gap a bit; MHD recommend .022". I'd say to throw a fresh set of plugs in there with the correct gap and then log again to see if your timing corrections go away.

As far a driving right now, it's not gonna hurt your engine, but it's just not performing as well as it could.

Anyone know a shop that can bench flash near Chantilly? I called IMA and they had no idea what I was talking about but referred me to another place that wanted to charge me 500 bucks to pull it and flash it. 250 to pull and 250 to flash. I may as well mail it out for that.

I am used to working on cars and I am not scared of pulling it out. I just want a fair shake in getting it done quickly as it's my DD. I don't want to pay 250 for a bench flash if others can do it for 100. I just would prefer not to lose my car for 3-5 days.

Pull the DME yourself, rent a cheap car for two days and send the unit out with next day air service both ways. Youll have minimal downtime and it will be done right for less than $500

Anyone have an issue with the soft burble becoming quite loud and aggressive, almost sounding like backfires? Along with what feels like less power? This is after starting up and driving home in a rain storm...I know atmospheric changes can affect how the car behaves.
Im on the e30 map.
On top of that, i got my last E85 mix from an Exxon station that I don't have full confidence in. I usually do bp E85 mix which always feels fantastic.
I'm going to reload the e30 map tonight for my drive into work tomorrow morning and reset some adaptations and see if that does anything.
I have a half a tank of this gas left until my next fill

With you being from Atlanta and what I've heard about the southeast, is it really humid there? I know when it is humid the car feels much slower. But what is your exhaust setup?

It's really humid almost always lol. Yeah I've come to realize it'll be down on power during the heat of the day or when it's super humid. But this felt completely different. Kind of like I wasn't even on the e30 map.
My exhaust is only a berk midpipe with the oem can. Other than that, I'm fbo kittyless.

Hey all!

Car is running STRONG with recent install of MHD stage 2+ to replace the Dinan flash.

I have a 2012 135i DCT, 50,XXX miles. Dinan intercooler, oil cooler, and axle back exhaust. VRSF 4" catless downpipe, FTP charge pipe and boost pipe. Injen intake. Spark plugs were replaced about 2,000 miles ago.

I was hoping some of you more knowledgeable folks might be able to help make sense of these logs. Does it look like things are working well? The car does fall on its face above 5,000rpm. These logs were done immediately after installing Stage 2+ and resetting ALL adaptations. It was about 90F outside.

Actual boost seems to be about 3-5psi below target boost. Does this mean boost leak? Everything sounds normal and no check engine lights.

Maybe try replacing the boost solenoid/pressure converter. They tend to wear out around your mileage. I replaced mine not too long ago and noticed more boost up top and lower overall WGDC.

Hi guys, recently had my 2012 135 custom tuned (~stage 2+) running a wagner IC and high flow downpipe.

I had it dyno'd at a local mechanic who recon the tune was pretty average, with only 10 psi of boost. But I had feeling they were just trying to sell me something I don't need...and the logs seem to back up that belief.

https://datazap.me/u/alderidge

Hoping a more experienced member can offer some insite to how my car is running / performing.

Much appreciated.
