Tracking Shipping Vessel

I called the 800 # last night and was told my car was In Transit. I plugged the VIN into the shipping company's website (here), but no record was found. What's the explanation for this? Is there a delay? The Official Ship Tracking thread led me to believe once it's on the boat you can see it.

Edit: Nevermind for now. I reread the thread, and it says it could take a few days for the VIN to show up on the ship tracking website. I'll revisit this if there's still a problem in a few days.

Ask your CA about it. I thought mine went with one of the shipping companies mentioned in the tracking thread, but instead went on a ship with the company K-line.
