Replaced ashtray option with "modified 12v USB adapters"

So here was my project for the day I swapped my trim from word to glacier trim! In addition I added the non smoking box but I thought to myself how can I make this better??? The only thing I used THE smoking option for was for another charger for my v1... so I went to my local electronics store and bought some 12v plugs one is a dual fast charge USB plug and the other is a standard cigarette lighter socket! I am very happy with the results! And it looks factory to me other than the blue illumination from the USB plugs but that does not bother me. What do you guys think?

Mine started with the ashtray and I replaced it with the box and then modified the box. The part number for the box is in one of the pics above.

where do the cables go?

just noticed you had the smokers package,
do the wires just plug into the stock ashtray wires, right?

Just used the same wires that went to the ashtray pos and neg and works like a charm! If you don't have the ash tray option it's still easy there is plenty of wires to splice into. Red pos brown neg
