1M brake lines

I want to order stainless steel brake lines...Can anyone definitively tell me if the 1M brake lines are the same as the M3 or are they the same as a 135?

Thanks in advance.

They are the same as M3 as the 1M shares the same front and rear brake systems.

thanks Harold...the Germans over here seem to have an issue whenever I try to order M3 parts for my 1M...I couldn't even get Ferrodo pads for my 1M as they say they aren't made yet according to one Motorsport distributor.

Wow if they had that lack of knowledge I would either be taking by business elsewhere or not even bothering to tell them I have a 1M. Just say its for my M3

I run bimmerworld ss lines. The M3 kit was the one I purchased for my car. Make sure the kit has 6 hoses. 4 rear and 2 fronts.

Harold has the parts you need. I purchased a set of pads from him recently and his service was pretty damn good.

I talked to a company sales rep for GoodRidge brake lines out of the UK and he told me that almost all 1series and 3series share the exact same brake lines. He said M3 and the lies for our 1series were the same. That really blows because I sold my lines for the 135, thinking I needed totally different lines for the 1M which supposedly had M3 brake parts...that's what I get for not researching better....

Only the lines from the chassis to the subframe are really shared.

Thanks to all for advice...ordered Goodridge lines Weds, arrived this morning, installed this afternoon along with ceramic pads from ATE....

For future info, brake line part number was TBW1050-6P and it's the same Goodridge number used on a bunch of BMW models.
