Roof rack installed
Bought a Yakima roof rack and installed it. Overall I'm pretty happy with it, I wish the feet for it were a bit smaller but other than that I have no complaints. Here are some pics, if anyone has any questions feel free to ask, and I'll do my best to answer.
and a pic from before that shows I do wash my car sometimes haha |

Looks good, waiting for my BMW rack to arrive at the dealership to put mine on. Looks like that Yakima rack rests on the paint, something I wouldn't want because of the risk of scratches on the roof. I think the actual BMW base rack doesn't actually make contact with the paint.
For example, this pic:

yeah I do like the fit of the BMW one better, but I had a thing about the silver bars, I just wanted it all black so it would somewhat just blend in the car. I'm not too worried about scratches with the feet, its rubber sitting on the paint and I thoroughly cleaned and then waxed the areas before installing, if it does scratch somehow, I'm sure it will be nothing that can't be buffed out.

He said he didn't like the silver bars on the BMW rack so he went with the Yakima to keep the all black theme.
edit: He beat me to an answer My BMW rack arrived at the dealer today along with the BMW surfboard attachment. Will post pics of that setup when I pick it up later today.

What did the Yakima set up and up costing you, if you don't mind me asking?
