The Single Sided Pieces have a VACC (Vacuum Assisted Composite Construction) on the inside (underside) of the hood painted in black to look OEM. VACC is nowhere near as light as Carbon Fiber.

The Double Sided Pieces have Carbon Fiber both on the outside and inside (underside) of the hood.

Is there like a "hood pin package" for the vented hood?

Do both hoods have a bulge? I can see they have different style vents.

ya they both got the "power dome" look just like the m3. 2 hoods tho. one with the small vents just like the m3 hood and the other is with the larger side vents.

Just out of curiosity ICarbon, any chance to extend the deadline for this GB?? 2 weeks seems a bit short and has caught ppl off guard lol

Took the words right out of my mouth!!!!!! They both have domes, but one has E92 M3-style vents, and the other has lower side vents (slat style).

^^That is correct! Powerdome is standard the vents are the options that differ from hood to hood.

As for extending the GB, i'll discuss it with Andy and Mario and get back to you guys.

Pre-Order extended to August 2nd

That will give you guys some extra time. That doesn't affect production at all since we're still making the same amount of pieces regardless of how many people pre-order

Hahaha, awesome!

We really, really thought that from a side profile, specifically with a trunk spoiler or trunk, this car BEGS for a bulge or lift on the nose of the car. When you see it in person and drive the car, it makes you wonder why the car didn't come like this from factory.

Proper pics will help, a lot. Thanks for the props!!!

man I love the m3-ish hood with the smaller vents. So do people install it with CF look or do most paint the hood to match their vehicle? Just out of curiosity....

It goes either way, but the majority or customers will be painting this and leaving small bits like the vents or the hump in carbon

We left ours in Carbon because, well.... IT'S THE ICARBON CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
