Question about E82 Tire fitment
Hey Guys,
I really don't know much about how rims and tires fit on a car and looking for a bit of a hand. I want to get a staggered setup on my E82 125i, however I did a bit of research and they say that sometimes you can have wider and larger diameter rims on a car. I am looking at the Arc - 8s and want to put the 17x8.5" ET40 on the front and the 18x8.5" ET45 on the back. Does anyone know if I can do this or would you suggest anything else? Again I know very little about this subject so please if you could give me hand that would be fabulous. Thanks Ryan |

The guys at Apex are very knowledgeable about BMW fitments for their wheels. Visit their website them call or email them. You will get an answer. I have the ARC-8s in staggered 18-inch sizes on my E82. What do you hope to accomplish with the different diameter wheels front-to-back?

Honestly mainly just the staggered look is what appeals to me, as I said I do not really know too much about the impact of rim sizes. I believe it impacts and benefits on handling? Would you suggest running an 8.5 x 18 an a 9.5 x 18?
