The 350's headlights just make me want to shoot the car, the driver and the dude who made it. It seems like the designers slipped on their mousepads when desinging the front body.
"Oh fuck, not again, the Parkinson's is acting up" "Oh wait that looks good, keep it!" "Time to hit that medical reefer once more!" Seriously, they look like sensors arrays from a sci-fi action figure. I half expect them to shoot proton rays at me and turn into micro-rocket launchers to help fight the war on terror. On the S class, they can almost pull it off when looking at the car coming towards you because the body is so nice otherwise, however on this c350 ride the headlights just destroy the flow of the vehicle's lines. BMW's headlamps I would put in a museum, Mercedes' headlamps, I would shove into the shoulder pod weapon of a Predator in the AVP universe. To be honest I think a little carbon fiber splashes and a redesign in the headlamp area would help to break up simultaneously overdone and underdone problems going on and do WONDERS for the car. Doing design myself, I just can't see how Mercedes decided to be into these unfinished headlamps, they are not cool and Mercedes is not cool. The CL class does headlamps WAYY better with bits of this black plastic, however the ENTIRE rest of the result is ruined in the CL's case because no matter how you stare at the CL it looks like a dying animal crossed with some sort of banana. Don't get me wrong I would be thrilled to drive any of these cars, just like I would be thrilled to accept an emmy award with my name on it right after 50 cent had taken a huge fresh dump on the trophy. However that's the point isn't it... If I actually had to pay for things I would keep a bank roll or two and opt for the Grammy in that line, a BMW. It looks blander but at least bimmer designers do not arrive on the job after having hit a crack pipe, or their heads on a large object. |

I think your post was more weird and empty than any BMW interior. What does a nav system, or lack of a nav system have anything to do with interior quality, fit and finish? Anyway, thanks for your generalizations about BMWs and Mercs.

I would definately would consider the MB350. I haven't seen one in person, but the pictures look pretty sweet. One thing I think they could change would be to pull the back wheel further toward the rear by about 3-4 inches.
Also interested in the A5, just keeping my fingers crossed on the pricing. |

#1. 0-60: C350 (6.0) 135i (around 4.6)
#2. Car comparos in magazines say the C350 doesnt even come close to the 335i, and c&d says the C350 decreased in performace in every area compared to the last gen C350. #3. The m-b 63 amg engines are 6.2 liters and are naturally aspirated, not bi-turbo So it comes down to a lot of style, not much substance, and $40,000+ (C350) Or a lot of style, tons of substace, and around $35,000 (135i) |

indeed, audi is doing with the 5 what bmw did with the 6, that is price the coupe much higher than the sedan; makes the e92 a relative bargain compared to the a5(and might i add compared to the 6er)

I agree that audi overprices thier cars, and the A5 will probably be out of my range, but it's still pretty sweet. I do like the pricing on used audi's though!
Speaking of overpriced....What the hell are they thinking on the A3? That thing is through-the-roof expensive for its class. |

The worst offender is the TT. I love fast/sporty cars, but the appeal of the TT has always been lost on me. :iono: |

As I child I grew up with Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes are built to do two things very well, going in a straight line and do it rather comfortably. If you want an automobile that can take the curves and has the ability to feel road, then BMW does it far superior to the Benz.

Yes they did. After the car was conceived. I'm sure it has its share of chrysler parts on it.
