A silly question about rims
I have a set of forgestar f-14 rims and I've cracked and bent 3 of the four rims. Does anyone know if these rims are just weak/soft? I'm curious cuz out the 3 cars I've owned, I've never had this issue and I'm from IL where the roads suck a lot more than Dallas. Does anyone have any recommendation on a "stronger" rim?
Thanks, |

I have the same rims in my car.
Bought them after having a bad experience with replicas (bent 3) These forgestars I have feel as strong as stock and ive hit some bad potholes with them. Running falkin non rft tires |

Thanks! Maybe the yokohama's are too low profile? I just don't want to keep dumping money into these rims if they are going to keep bending...by now I could have gotten the downpipes :-)

They could be from a bad batch. Make sure that you keep an eye on air pressure, and don't opt for the most thin tire possible. I've always bought the beefest tire possible that wouldn't upset my speedometer, the extra rubber will help to protect your rim.
