Canadian HPFP Warranty?

Hi all!

I am considering buying a 2008 135i, and am curious about the HPFP. The car would be under warranty until 2012, but i know by reading about the HPFP in other threads that the HPFP warranty in the US was extended to 10 years. Did they do the same for Canada?

If this car has an HPFP issue, it would be nice to know I'd be covered for the next 8 years!

Sometime ago I was having a casual conversation with a SA in Toronto and if my mind serves me correctly he mentioned about the HPFP and its extended warranty 8-10 years. You may want to double check that though. Cheers.

I hope they just changed the warranty on HPFP but I emailed BMW Canada maybe half year ago, they told me they were working on similar warranty extension. I highly doubted they have that in place already since I have never heard of anyone getting any official confirmation from BMW Canada yet...

In my experience Canadians always get screwed when it comes to anything car warranty. If they extend it I wouldn't be surprised if it was at the last minute.
