245/35’s can usually work up front given you’re not lowered. If you’re on springs you’ll likely rub on dips. I’m deciding on a squared setup atm with 18x8 et40 wheels with 245/35 tires all around and I should be alright up front. I’m also considering dinan camber plates also to add the extra camber.

thanks

so 18x8.5 et35 front and 18x9.5 et 35 rear should be no problem, right?

probably will run 225/40 and 255/35 and see how they fit and go wider next round if possible.

was thinking about square but decided to go staggered.

Rear may rub over bumps/dips depending on camber, suspension, and tire brand. These cars really need higher offset rear wheels that can be hard to find to fit wide rear tires

So then thinking maybe et40 in the rear, maybe slightly less wide tire @ 245/40 or 35? bump up to a 255 next round if there is room perhaps

245/35 with 18x9.5et40 should fit without rubbing, but every car is different...If they only rub a little you can usually get rid of it with more camber

Rear:

Spacer:

Tires:
Front
Goodyear F1 Supersport 225/40 R18
Rear
Goodyear F1 Supersport 235/40 R18

Suspension/Fender Mods/Camber: Alignment adjusted to my taste on standard M-Sport suspension. Front camber -00-10'. Rear camber -1-30' .
Toe set identical on all 4 corners, +00-08' (Excellent turn-in, line tightens on acceleration - but the rear is stable.)

Notes:

Almost square on staggered rims. Seriously considered 225 on the rear, where stock is 245/35, but decided to respect that rear rims are 0.5" wider. Tyre walls look nicely square front and rear. Looks great, drives great!

The rears cannot be wider. At least not with this wheel - this is a pretty flush setup. If you want a wider rear wheel/tire, the offset needs to be higher so it can move inwards. I picked this because it is a square setup that works well without spacers for my street setup.

Bilstein B6 and swift springs. Dinan camber plates in front. Dropped it 1/4” lower than MSport stock suspension and may settle a hair more.

17x8/9 ET 25/35 effectively after spacers.

Good Morning, just picked up a 2009 128i white stock 18 x 7.5 on the front and 18 x 8.5 on the rear 49 and 52 offset. Previous owner had just installed 245/35-18's pilot sports all around.

Looking to pick up a set of Sparco/OZ wheel and stay with the 18's

IF i stay with the same tires an go

18 x 8 45 ET on the front
18 x 9 39 ET on the rear

Think it would work

Forgot to mention it is a convertible and sport suspension

2011 BMW 135 (Msport package)

Hi everyone,

Newbie here - I live in Toronto Canada and our winters are quite bad. I need snow tires and likely a square setup on my 135. There are limited BMW OEM options available however I was wondering if I could use 2series rims on my car? Would they cover the breaks in the front? I found a set of OEM BMW Style 308 rims with winters on kijiji and I want to make sure they would fit my 125. Its 205/50/R17. They are style 308 for reference. I believe the offset is 40mm.

Thank you!

P.S. I just picked up my 135. I've had a F30 335, E92 335, and this 1 series is my favourite car yet.

BMW M4 666m Replicas

I’ve had these fitted to my 125i coupe for about a year now. its been difficult, you can’t do it without a stiffer suspension.

So I went for AG Wheels M-GT 19 INCH MFG

http://www.agwheels.com.au/shop/mgt-...-machined.html

Front 8.5 19” offset 35
225 35 P Zero

Rear 9.5 19” Offset 38 (custom machined to near 43)
245 30 P Zero

Now pirelli Run flats DON’T STRETCH. go a size up than normal, you’ll see why in the photos and the near 50psi pressure you have to keep them at to prevent debeading.

First run... Rubbing.

So I had the fenders rolled.

No Luck.

ST XA Coilovers.

They don’t rub anymore and drive perfect but the rim pokes out way too much so they get destroyed in every day driving. I’m looking to fit protectors but just a warning for this style, its hard to keep neat.
