Hood latch?

What is the part name/number of the latch in the red circle?
Is it supposed to be held in place with a plastic push-pin/screw?

Here you go!

#1 Twist Support PN: 51237002012
#2 Expanding Rivet PN: 51168197908
#7 Hood Catch Bracket PN: 51237008756

Never had mine out, but from google pics, catch bracket looks like it screws into the hood, then the twist support and plastic rivet keep it from twisting freely.

I thought that was it but wanted confirmation.

Mine is all there but seems floppy. I thought there might be something broke/wrong. but guess not.
Just seems odd that it's not a solid piece.

*edit
After looking at the pic I see where my confusion is. The plastic portion:

Fits over the catch bracket:

To prevent turning and keeping it in adjustment.

Yup! Imagine what a PITA it would be if that eye ring "Catch Bracket" spun on you when you tried to close the hood.

I had exactly the same concern recently; apparently this is as intended. My eyes say this is crap (or at least a little wonky).

Yes. Just happened to be the first picture of the underside of the hood Google threw at me.
