I thought that was it but wanted confirmation.
Mine is all there but seems floppy. I thought there might be something broke/wrong. but guess not. Just seems odd that it's not a solid piece. *edit After looking at the pic I see where my confusion is. The plastic portion: Fits over the catch bracket: To prevent turning and keeping it in adjustment. |

Yup! Imagine what a PITA it would be if that eye ring "Catch Bracket" spun on you when you tried to close the hood.

I had exactly the same concern recently; apparently this is as intended. My eyes say this is crap (or at least a little wonky).
