1m Wheel Refresh

After curb rash repairs and years of good service and yellowing clear coat I decided to get my wheels refreshed. I had them powder coated at "Blast Coatings PowderCoating" in Lake Worth Florida and Matias is a true and detailed professional.

I'm in love again!

Lovely shade! You outdid yourself sir, it looks amazing!

Might I suggest a final finishing touch?

Looks amazing . . . I am going to need to do this, but not until I get a set of trash wheels for track duty.

That really looks good with your 265/295 setup. I will be replacing my stock tires soon and am running H&R as well - are you running any spacers with your setup?

No spacers. I am thinking about going to the H&R coiler as I would like the rear up just a tad ..... rubs from time to time right rear with passenger in car - love, love the grip with the 295 rear meat!

The high stance in the front of my car is bothering me a bit after seeing yours and Coilovers are starting to cross my mind but hate throwing away all the work BMW did to tune the suspension that made it a great car. It has become a bit more pronounced with the narrower BBS wheels.

Would love it if you share your experience if you get them. I guess what worries me is that the spring rates are tuned for E90 M3 and not 1M specific. Does HR give you baseline compression and rebound settings to start with, or is it all just trial and error?

I was also looking at KW because a friend of mine that builds race cars and record setting time attack cars loves KW.

Let us know, sir, and again. Great shade anthracite. The car looks amazing!

The tire sizes fit perfectly! What did you opt for? 265/295? What height ratios?
