2013 135i engine smoking

Hi, this is my first post so sorry if i am doing something wrong, haha.

I just recently bought my 2013 135i 6MT coupe 2 weeks ago with about 60,000 miles on it. Everything has been great but, recently, after i am finished driving and turn off the car i heard a dripping noise then hitting the exhaust making a hissing noise (i thought it was just AC condensation). Now after i stop i can smell almost like a plastic burning and see a small amount of smoke coming out of the engine bay.

I'm really hoping its not a valve cover gasket. I haven't really DIY'd anything, all i have done to it are LUX 8 angel eyes haha. Hoping this wasn't a bad idea...

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Classic valve cover leak.

Darn.. So it is for sure a valve cover leak? Is that super hard to DIY? About how much would it cost to bring it to a shop to do it?

Try to look on Youtube for a diy, i did it on a n54 wasn't too bad just tedious because you have to remove a lot of things. But at the shop you'll be looking around $1200 in my area.
