Yesterday I got done installing H&R springs. Today I took the center console apart and have been wrapping parts with CF vinyl with clear coat. Tomorrow, more work on custom diffuser. Right now... I should be asleep.

Also while I was out there I pulled off the diverter hoses and capped the intake holes.
Now I divert to atmosphere and get a neat noise...lol
Its entertaining....however it could get old quick...we shall see.

I love the way this car handles now with the H&R sway

Yesterday I picked my car up from a shop where a clear bra was put on. One of these days I will tackle the golf tee mod and buy/install the clutch stop

I spent the day learning how to use my new Porter Cable DA Orbital buffer on my 2003 Z4 which will be traded in next month for my new 135i convertible. Figured it's better to learn on the old one than try it out on my new 1'er. Wife's car is next. Then I figure I will be a pro by the time my 135 gets here.

Porter Cable orbitals are pretty user-friendly. Not as powerful as a rotary on tough scratches and swirls, but easy to use.

I find I get my best results by applying the polish on Speed 2 or so. Once I get the polish spread out, I crank it up to nearly 6. I work slowly, maybe an inch or two a second, and go in both directions. Wipe it off with a good microfiber towel, and move on.

Once the polishing is done, some people use the PC to apply wax/sealant.

Since you will be getting a new 135, the PC should be all you need. If you wash and dry with care, you shouldn't ever need more than the PC.

Oh, I spent the day driving my 128. I did hand-wash my winter-beater Focus, though. It was due for some love.

Today, I gave my 135 a break. I put over 100 miles a day usually on my beloved Beemer, but today, it got to sit and take a breather.,.

I went out and had a temporary plastic barrior blow into the side of my car while I was waiting at a light giving it the first scratch in 2 years of ownership. Time to break out the PC.
