Updates please! I am picking up a 128i tomorrow (N52 non-sulev 6AT) and would be very interested in the exhaust!

Considering how good the stock 135i exhaust sounds on our cars, I may just buy the AA 135i Signature exhaust

Going to need to do some fabbing to change the dia exhaust.

Can't speak for AA, but they are developing headers now so perhaps the exhaust is a second thought?

I would read the e9x reviews before I spent money here. Lot of people reporting massive drone with that one.

With all due respect i have to disagree with you.
We sell a lot of the e90 and F30 328 AA exhausts, we got a ton of positive reviews and only one customer (out of more than 20-30 customers) that had a drone ( i still think the drone was caused by poor installation ).

F30 is entirely unrelated.

There have been a number of E90 customers who have mentioned the drone, some of which have mitigated to some degree by stuffing synthetic wine corks into their exhaust hangers.

Yea it will need some sort of adapter. On a side note I think the larger piping is why the 135i exhausts (Active, Berk, stock, perf.) sound so good on the 125i/128i

I've been following that header thread; maybe they'll start moving this to production now because they already have the design finished

I run no muffler and there isn't any drone.

I can't possibly see how adding an aftermarket exhaust would result in a drone

All i am saying is that out of the 20-30 AA exhausts we sold the last year, 99% of the customers have been really satisfied ( only one customer complained about drone and as i said earlier im confident the drone was caused by poor installation).
I understand that you have seen couple threads complaining about drone, but compare the numbers of threads vs how many of these exhausts have been sold.
Less than 1% is not a massive numbers of unsatisfied customers.

I have the berk race on my car and there's very minimal drone at a higher RPM....Unless the design of the AA exhaust causes it, I don't see how it would drone to the point of being obnoxious

Drone is more influenced by the sound frequency than volume, so other setups don't really mean much.

My AA muffler on my M3 was drone free and sounded fantastic, but that was a completely different design.

IIRC, it was caused by vibrations in the mounting brackets.

It may be a while.. they used my car for measurements and as part of the deal they were supposed to give me an exhaust at cost of materials. they made me take a refund to get out of the order.

maybe a 2015 release??

Me think that they're changing the design to compliment they're newly designed headers. Or they simply diverted all their focus to the headers for now. Regardless, headers are really what make our cars sound fantastic without being too loud

Sooo I now have a bunch of go fast AA stuff bolted on my car and embedded in it's brain. Now I don't think I'll be happy till the exhaust is available too. Any ballpark on the fate of these?
