You're thinking of the ATI ePod Gauge Pod but I don't think it can work with paddle shifters at least not steptronic ones.
I have an AEM digital boost gauge and mounted it with an Autometer gauge holder. I have paddle shifters so I placed it in a spot where it didnt hit them or the wiper handle and could still see the instrument cluster. Just tap the steering column with the screw that comes with the gauge holder kit. I can get a pic if interested. |

I installed it myself. The tricky part was wiring it to the fuse box. I used an add-a-fuse adapter from autozone. I routed the power wire and ground wire under the dash and snaked it behind the plastic paneling to the shifter. Installed the ground wire to a bolt under the shift boot then took the power wire to the fuse box behind the glove box. I can't remember what number fuse I tapped it to though. Pretty sure it was to the ACC so it would turn on only when the start button was pushed. If I have some time I'll take some more pics tomorrow. here's a pic of the add a fuse |
