MHD Failure to authenticate

I am running into an issue flashing a stg1 onto an N55. This appears to be the same issue here: MHD Tuning - Failed to Authenticate/Failed to Write DME

This is on a MEVD172 ECU
MHD Version: 1.6
Licenses: Flasher, Monitor, Stage 1 maps pack

I was able to flash the MHD Stg0 without issue. This is reflected when I pull DME codes (which succeeds) as the last file flashed. I am able to use the monitor suite.

When I attempted to flash the Stg1 (or reflash Stg0), I receive a "Failed to authenticate. Unable to write DME." error.

Has anyone run into a similar issue?

This was my own misunderstanding of correct ignition position (rather than accessory). Thanks to Momir at MHD for suffering my stupidity.

I'm having same issue. Tried with car running and off and key in ignition. What did he say?
