DCT feels slightly jerky

Im in TN this week for a carshow and it lots of slow moving traffic...no higher gear than 3rd. Im noticing that the DCT is kind of lurching and lunging as i maintain a steady speed. Its nothing abrupt but definitely noticable to me. Is this normal? BTW, I have the latest software as of March.

Anything? Is it a common characteristic of this tranny to feel like this. I realize there are clutches instead of a torque converter and all that. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like the tranny is belt driven and there is just the tiniest amount of play in the belt so it has this very slight tight, loose, tight, loose feeling to it. Does that make any sense at all? My CPO is days from expiring and the dealer is 80 miles away. Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Mine is the same way. I've had it for 6 months and still haven't figured out how or if I can get it to transition from slow/stop to go without being jerky lurchy. From what I've read it's common with the DCT.

Yes, there are some issues (throttle lag, idle fluctuation, and lurching forward) with some of the DCTs. Not everybody has them but some do. People have had some success with the different solutions listed in zx10guy's thread. Do a for more info. Here's another thread about it:

I dont have the lag or a/c issues anymore after the software update. Just the occasion lurch at stop lights when i left off the brake a little and then the slight surging/lunging feeling.
