Thumbs up Autocross video

A big thanks to the folks at http://M-World.us making the impossible happen and getting my AIM Solo DL to me before last Sunday's autocross!

With their help, I collected a lot of useful data and was able to compile a nice video of my fastest run:

Also thanks to Harold @ HP Autowerks for setup help and thanks to Midnight Oil Motors for taking care of my car!

That was awesome. Were the digital Tach, speedo, steering and throttle all accurate?

I think so! The data is coming straight from the BMW ECU, so it should be as accurate as BMW knows it to be

Nice driving good job.. nice DL info.

on a technical note: is that camera mounted to the tow hook or in the grill?? that view with the floor so close in wide angle almost made me get video-sick...

It's mounted using a Tow-hook mount. That's why the right side apex cones are much closer to the left hand apex cones.

Not that you guys accuse me of missing half the apexes

Thumbs up

Thanks Richard! And thanks again for providing such excellent customer service!

Video aside, I had the opportunity to let a very experienced autocrosser drive my car and thanks to the AIM Solo DL, there's a lot of data for me to compare and learn from!

Really glad I bought it and very glad I bought it from M-World.us as well!

I kept thinking that until I realized about half way through "maybe he mounted the camera closer to center, duh"
