What is correct steering fluid for 1M

I asked my dealer to flush the steering fluid in my 1M and they said it just takes the same fluid as all other modern BMWs. It does not take any special fluid just because it uses the M3 steering rack. Can anyone confirm?

Garage List
It's hydraulic fluid...why would you expect it to be M-specific?

I think the proper ps fluid is: CHF 11S (made by Pentosin)

Look at the top of the ps reservoir, there is a label there telling you the proper fluid to use. On my e39 bmw used two ps systems, so you always have to look at the top of the ps reservoir. If there is no label, then regular ATF can be used(so I am told). CHF 11S is a dark green/grey in color. ATF is red.
