Hi Paintpro21,
I love the width and offset for the rear wheels. But funny as it sounds, I'm concern about the 38 offset for the front wheel. From my calculation, it's going to be pushed out about 1" from the stock wheel. I don't want to roll the fenders, what's you thought on tire size and suspension lowering? Thanks, AW135i |

Since it's a 8.5" wide rim, I'm looking to run 235/35/18 for the front. Maybe Berk can chime in with any advise on this.
On the Berk car, I'm not sure if they have the wide front fenders. Edit: tire size should be 235/40/18 Last edited by AW135i; 06-08-2009 at 09:05 PM.. Reason: correct tire size |

I know they are running a 255/35 R1R's up front, which has a wider shoulders than most street tires. Not to mention wider in general. 235 should fit great.

I run a 245 PS2 on an 8.5" rim with a 38ET no problems. if you go with a squarer tire you'll need to go with a 235. and if you run a bunch of neg camber you could probably fit a 255.
These wheels look good I'm definitely going to consider them. |

Paintpro, do you have a +25 18x9.5 for these wheels? Or something close to that? I am very interested in these wheels, but the front won't fit me as I am running a widebody kit soon. Also, you may want to consider running a batch of these in competition gold or bronze. They are the in colour now!

aren't these a little aggressive for the 1er, offset wise? if not let me know the weights of the staggered 18s in silver, and can these fit the BMW center caps?

Official list for the 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 1 series wheels:
1. WhiteSled 2. larryn - hyper silver (I assume that's the RG-R like finish) 3. BERK 4. Let's get this done! I'd still like an answer on the hubcentric fitment though. I definitely do NOT want to have shim rings. |

I have unusually fat 245's up front with a 17x9 ET41... but need a 5mm spacer, due to the wheel being too close to the strut. ET 38 on a 8.5 should eliminate that issue. I don't have camber plates, but removed the alignment pin, and have a mild roll up front. You should be fine with a 235. |

We'll have an 18x9" et42 that you could spacer out. that keeps the same face angle as the 1 series 9.5 rears. It is not possible to custom make a set. Sorry |
