Hi, all. I just ordered a bunch of suspension stuff, but I live in the city and don't have any way to do much myself, so I was wondering if someone could give me a rough estimate as to how many hours/how much it should cost to install the following list that I've ordered. I want to make sure I don't get hosed when calling around. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

- 2-piece Whiteline rear subframe bushings (IIRC, this is the most expensive install)
- Bilstein B12 Prokit
- M3 front arms, M3 front sway, Dinan camber plates, Megan rear toe arms
- new brake fluid
- alignment

The 2-piece bushings are easy to install. The OE M3 bushings are more difficult because 2 of them install from the top and the subframe might need to be dropped, and I believe they need to be pressed into the subframe. The OE non-M bushings install from the bottom so the subframe does not need to be dropped, and are easy to press out if you have the tool. Here is a thread describing how to make a tool on the cheap. The 2-piece bushings do not need to be pressed in, can be done with your thumbs easily and since they are 2-piece, you have enough clearance to install without dropping the subframe. I would expect that an experienced mechanic with access to a bushing press would be able to do this job in about an hour.

The rest of the suspension components would take way longer. I DIYed all of this so can't give a good estimate on indy costs. I'm only responding to make sure you don't think $1,000 is reasonably for the RSFB install, it should be cheap for the 2-piece bushings.

Thanks! I did buy the 2-piece bushings with install time in mind, so glad to know that it shouldn’t take half a day or anything.

Got a C/F M4 spoiler for it from a local couple, for $80. Couldn't pass up that steal of a deal. Brand new, never installed. They have a vert and ordered for a coupe by mistake.

Both nice upgrades. A bit big for my taste, but maybe you want and/or need the extra room.

Dammit. Wrong one.
And after I pull my factory lip off. LOL

*sigh
Guess I'm left with buying one now. Shucks.

I see where I went wrong now.
I bought a spoiler for a 4 series, m4 style.
Should have bought a M4 style that fits a 1series. Not the same thing. Oopsie.

Having the suspension removed and installed + alignment, is around 2-4 hours depending on how quick/experienced one is.

M3 arms + sway bar is around 1.5-2 hours.

Rear arms are maybe 1 hour or less, no experience there.

Brake fluid is around 20 minutes, or 30 minutes if you take your time.

If two people are working on the car, shave 2 hours of at least. But looks like 4-7 hours give or take including alignment ( a full days work at the shop basically).
