How many week 14ers at the dock waiting for a ship?

Production was complete on April 2nd and both the website and the 1-800 number have me at the dock waiting for a vessel. Just wondering who else is there with me. I am on the east coast (NJ). Looks like there are 3 ships sailing next week so I hope I make 1 of them. They are scheduled to sale on the 9th, 10th, and 11th. They are the TAGUS, COURAGE, and BOHEME... at this point I am hoping for early to mid May delivery which would be great because I am on vacation the last week of May and first week of June.. road trip somewhere to achieve break-in sounds on order...:smile:

I'm in 'released to shipper, waiting transport to port of embarkation', or something of that nature, mode. So if they can get my 1er on a transporter and haul its butt to Bremerhaven, maybe, just maybe, it'll make one of those three.

It took 2 days for mine to go from where yours is to at the port so I think you have a great chance of making 1 of those ships... The real hard part will be when it is here on American soil and there is still another 2 weeks or so.. it will be so close but yet so far...

Mine was finished on Tuesday, April 1. 800# has it as being transported to port of exit for the past couple of days. Hopefully, I'll be on the Courage headed for Charleston, SC on the 10th. I'd like to take delivery of this thing before the Bristol NHRA event in mid May. Fingers crossed.

If we make any of those 3 ships I think mid May is quite possible...it will depend on how quickly we pass through the VPC..

Well, maybe for you. But, out of the three you listed, only the Courage is coming down my way. The Boheme and Tagus are NJ bound only.

am stuck in released to carrier, awaiting transport to port of exit the past couple of days. i'm keeping my fingers crossed that it would get into one of the ships to port hueneme leaving the 11th. the next ship scheduled for the west coast is on the 25th. i hope i don't have to wait that long.

I'm a week 13, waiting for a boat to Australia. It's a 6 week voyage from Bremerhaven via South Africa. :-(

Wow!, I couldn't imagine an additional 6 week wait. Watching that silly boat plod it's way across the big pond is gonna be torture enough.

P.S. Anybody else catch themselves thinking about their 1er and getting a bit of a heart palpitation? If it's not that, I probably need to call my doctor.

I would never last.. I have been only waiting 5 weeks from the time I ordered and I am going mad... My wife seriously thinks I have a mental problem with how often I am on here and calling the 1-800 number.. All she says now is " Oh you are on there again." and then leaves the room while I go from post to post...

it's bad enough that, delay or not, it has to get on to another ship once it hits the west coast and after VPC, adding another ~10-12 days. well, there's six more days for it to make a ship. plus the delay, if any, will provide me more time to dispose of my present car. oh wait, i'm thinking positive...i want my car now!!!!

So you are like a week ahead of us.. I can wait 3-4 days for a vessel that wld mean I wld catch a ship this coming week.. thanks for letting us know how long you waited at port for a vessel.. it gives the rest of us hope..:smile:

This coming week can't be over quick enough... If I don't get on a ship this week i might have a mental breakdown...I definitely want to take delivery before I go on vacation so I can work on break in..

the next 5 ships headed from Bremerhaven to NY are leaving on the 9th, 10th, 11th, 14th and 17th! I'm hoping that were all on the Tagus which leaves Germany the 9th and arrives in NY on the 21st of April.
