MPower,
Quit wasting time at work tracking the Fedora! Do you have the web cam page for the Gatun Lock open too? Last edited by mdputnam; 02-27-2012 at 04:22 PM.. |

MPower, Well, the Fedora dodged the pirates and made it through the last lock today. Here's the video of the Fedora passing through the Miraflores Lock captured on their web cam: Should be in Point Huneme on Wednesday! |

I was literally watching it throughout the morning yesterday and just as the boat neared the locks, I got thrown into an hour long meeting. IIRC, I stepped out at 12... Fedora entered the locks around 12:45... and I got back at 1... Perfect. |

Once your ship comes in that's not the end of the story.
Mine's been on the dock in NY since last week and I don't have it yet. I WANT MY CAR!!! |

ejm,
The good news is your car is here! The Sun Newspaper reports that there was a little problem on the boat: However, we just received word, the minor shipping damage will be repaired soon: Last edited by mdputnam; 03-05-2012 at 06:44 PM.. |

I'm going to talk to someone at the 800 number today and see if they can give me a time estimate of when it will be at the dealer. I'm becoming very impatient!!!
Edit: I spoke with very nice guy named "Logan" at BMWNA and he said once the vehicle leaves production they really have no more visibility to it and you need to deal with your CA, which in my case isn't very helpful. Last edited by ejm3; 03-06-2012 at 08:52 AM.. |
