Feeler: 135i Nosemask
I am getting a little ahead of the game here, but I was curious to see if anyone had interest in a nosemask for the 135i. I will be taking PCD in mid-September, and want to get something to protect the front of my car for the drive back to TN, but don't have a long term need for the nosemask. Would anyone be interested in buying it after I drive home, at a discount? I can get it for $100 from Tischer and it will have only been used once!

I thought about the painters tape, may end up going that route, just wanted to see if there was any interest in this idea.

$75 shipped sound good? Also, I am taking PCD around mid-Sept, so it wouldn't be available until after that.

I'm doing a PCD as soon as my car arrives from Europe. Should be sometime in early August.
I was thinking of the same thing - buying the front end cover and selling it when I get back to Miami. Maybe starting a 135i bra rental service? lol!

The only issue I can think of, is that I think the nosemask uses velcro tabs that you place in your wheel well/under hood to hold the bra in place (if it is anything like the nosemask on my parent's X5). These would be difficult, if not impossible, to reuse from one person to the next. Anyone know how these nosemasks attached to the 1er?

PCD - Performance Center Delivery in South Carolina. It would be for upper and lower pieces.
I'll try to look into the velcro issue. That would definitely put a wrench in the works.

Looks like it is the adhesive velcro strips...but I looked into it, and you can buy a roll of the stuff from any craft store, so it would be easy to replace what would be "used" in the process.
If someone is seriously interested in going in on this with me, shoot me a PM.
