We even have the same problem here in Germany with BMW themselves. The Catalogue and customer support claim that the Professional Radio has twin tuners for FM Radio Reception (same as both available Nav units). But internal material and closer examination of the actual device reveal, it´s an alpine radio with only one tuner... |

Jwoky, thanks for the picture. I'm assuming that the picture you posted is of the e90. Can you tell me if the cable is included with the car (it looks to me like it is a standard 3.5mm male-male cable, but tell me if it is permanently attached)? |

What I want is the phatbox supported for iDrive. Or...iPod. I have the phatbox in my Passat. Great. Love it. Love using the steering wheel controls for it. I'd like to have either of those supported by the Logic7.

I think the 3.5mm plug is a standard feature on all e90's. So you can connect your favorite mp3 player, MD player, etc.

WOW, what a joke.
I guess my research has all been shot down. Due in MAJOR part to the lackadasical editing and mal-informed spokes people of BMWUSA. They have changed the Logic7 page in the E90 flash to no longer say "in-dash CD changer." It now says optional 6-disc changer. In addition, the Accessories section, in the Build section of BMWUSA, has a trunk-mounted CD changer. I am still going to keep my fingers crossed for a glove box changer like the E60, but it's not looking good. Though I now look and feel like a dumbass, I wish BMW would not be so decieving in the information they dish out through both e-mail and Flash. I am very disappointed in my favorite car company . They must have had a load of inquiries regarding this feature for them to make these changes. Sorry if I got anyone's hopes up. And sorry for being so hard-nosed on something I hadn't actually experienced in person. It's only a CD changer, but I can get passionate about such intricacies. Especially when it seems like BMW is actually going to move in the right direction.

CD Changed in trunk
HI all, her in South Africa, the CD Changer is in the trunk (Logic 7). Don't know why South Africa always do stuff the other way round (I should actually be patriotic, shouldn’t I be?), furthermore, on the BMW site Bluetooth phones, supposedly not compatible, works like a charm.

I picked my car up on 6/29.
I ordered the CD Changer & dealer is waiting for the bracket. To be installed in the truck. Infact there is a cut out for the changer. |
