hey all!

I dont know if you're all devout beemer fans, but Ive always thought that Mercedez Benz should come up with a coupe that is very similar to the current C class but two door. I think it will look sweet! Why do you guys think they dont do it, to atleast compete with the 3 series coupes. I know their previous coupe hutchback was a big flop, obviously it was really ugly!

Yeah, i think its the CLK 320/430 line. The 430 has a really powerful engine, but it feels like you're driving a tank, not a sports car IMO.

yeah, that too, but I meant a regular C-Class car that's a 2 door coupe, in the same price range as the 3 series. Just go online to a car site or the MB site, and you'll see.

There going to do better than that:

2007 Mercedes-Benz CLE

"Following the lead of its new CLS, the E-class-derived four-door coupe, Mercedes-Benz is planning a four-door, C-class-based coupe called the CLE to shake up the next generation of its smallest range, which arrives in mid-2006.

The CLE will utilize now-trendy rear suicide doors in a slick, low-slung package. Engines will range from a supercharged 170-hp, 1.8-liter direct-injection four to a 390-hp, 5.5-liter AMG V-8. To save costs, the CLE will use the roof of the next CLK coupe."

Is it just me or is there an over-proliferation of MB models? There's just so many now and their volume doesn't really exceed BMW by much.
