Got one the other day at 2.5 months since I took delivery. They sent me a white credit card-looking USB drive about a month after I bought my 2011 135i. Looks like not much in the way of swag for the U.S. market talking to other BMW owners in my area. This is my third new BMW in 4.5 years and the USB drive is the only thing I've ever been sent.

So I just got this solicitation from BMW to purchase the ///M 8GB Key Fob. I like it because there is no 'cap' that can be misplace or lost. Looks like the USB is retractable.

I'm thinking 1M owners should have maybe gotten this instead of the silver generic fob some of us got.

Got mine a few days ago. It's nice but the cap covering the plug comes off with almost no pressure at all. Wouldn't make it on my keyring for even a day before losing the cap. Still a nice little something unexpected.
