New - Breyton GTS-R
The lightweight version of the Breyton GTS will carry the name GTS-R. We will offer it initially in a staggered 18" fitment with possible 19" and 20" fitments to follow later. It will not look much different than the GTS. The same look to the wheel will be kept while reducing the weight significantly. The backside of the spokes will be a different shape and the spokes may be a just bit narrower. Here are the specs. Price to weight ratio on this will be very nice.
18x7.5" ET 45, 17.5 lbs. $309 per wheel (Matte Grey, Black and Silver) 18x8.5" ET 48, 18.3 lbs. $319 per wheel (Matte Grey, Black and Silver) Grey and black will have the red stripe behind the spokes, Silver will not. See post #52 for picture Gill Pictures of them on my car: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=216385

Here's the GTS. The GTS-R will be similar. Concave multi-spoke but much less weight.

Its a nice wheel but I like the GT much better. Is there a reason why both work on the 3 series and only one works on the 1 series? I dont understand why they both wouldnt bolt up.

Gill, are these wheels strong? I still prefer OZ superleggeras, but seeing OZ doesn't seem to produce a rear wheel that is suitable for 245 tyres, I may just have to go for these. What do you think the chances of OZ producing a 8.5 inch with the right offset?

Gill please keep us informed when these wheels are available.
Very interesting, those weight numbers for the 18's are impressive. Will there be 19's and 20's sizing for other BMW applications in the future? |

I want to see this in a 19" silver finish for our cars. I will be most interested, especially if they are not extremely heavy.

As of today, these are estimated for 6-1-2008 delivery. This date can change in either direction but this is the current estimate.
