mystery part found under E88 hood,can anyone identify please

Found this underneath my hood. I would like to get it back to its proper home. It has the following numbers on it: 1025456. Can anyone identify please?

My vote- the vent tube from the top of the windshield washer tank.

Thanks, good find. I recently replaced the pump and that makes sense. I am slowly bringing back my "Year One of the 1" E88. Hopefully I can reach it from the top or it will have to wait.
