Much better episode. I too laughed quite hard at the hearse. I also loved the "I know your cheating, cause I'm cheating and your beating me" line from the challenge!

First episode 4/10
2nd episode 7/10

Agree with all, including the sound dub which annoys me no end. You can hear the car still accellerating when the video clearly shows it braking for a corner. Nearly all American films do it. Quite comical when a 4 cyl jap bike is given a Harley sound track.

Yup - they're getting comfortable, trying to be less of C. H. & M. and more of themselves, was pretty good!

Yeah - thought it was much better this week. Thought the Kalgoorlie Super Pit challenge was good - I wonder how much it took to shut down operations while they did the segment!

I guess the guys are still settling in so give them time and they'll come good!

Agreed, watched it with a friend and we thought it was better than what was described last week. We couldn't help but play the "spot the HS&E issue" during the Super Pit segment though and we both commented that they'd have HAD to shut down ops as they filmed that.

Had a laugh, too, at the SMART hearse.

Verdict from Belgium

Yep it was funny from here too.

Muuuuch better than ep 1. Almost no cringeing required.

Good to see :respekt:

For me maybe a little better, still not to my liking.

THe Hearse thing did not excite me at all, maybe they could have done the motor bike engine in the rear thing and made a real fun car of it.

Two weeks straight and 4 x 4 / utes take most of the show! is this outback Top Gear or a performance car show!
The GT was fast on the track but the camera work lets all the track work down, and if they do in fact have a $200- $300 K budget per show surely they could have got a street sweeper on the track before they run a fast car.

Try hard they may but for me it is still a below average show.

IMO that may be the problem they try way to hard i.e. now lets warm the tyres, oh lets warm the tyres, LETS WARMS THE TYRES we get what you mean!
I guess we will just have to keep watching and hope it gets better, but not looking good at the moment.

Definitely better 2nd episode, as I suspected the show should only get better as time goes on and as you become more familiar with and used to the presenters

I missed last week but wasn't very impressed with what I saw. Couldn't they think of another name for the stig? I did like the hearse feature though..
I'm looking forward to top gear live - http://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows...x?sh=TOPGEAR09

Compare with all the Australian made car show, Top Gear Australia is way above anything previously made.

If you compare with the UK based program, it is still in another league. Cox is just annoying and he is actually the worst of the 3. Stop pretending you are Clarkson and you will do a bit better.
