should have ran straight race fuel, with a 1.8 60ft it would have put him into the high 11s.

50 / 50 mix is probably why the MPH is low, straight race fuel would result in an extra 4 - 5 MPH added to that number. In my experience anyway

Orlin, Have you actually experienced a 4-5 MPH increase from going to race gas from 98? That is huge, and I would not have thought that would be possible. Going from 112 to 116MPH is not a 10kW increase. It would be like a 50+ kW increase which I would not have thought was possible with just adding race fuel. Just interested in what your experiences are in detail. We have tested race fuel on Kenny's car when already running Meth, and we found negligable benefit with Meth. Obviously the benefit would be more without meth, but I am thinking that race gas with a couple psi more boost might get you 20-30kW over an optimised 98 RON setup, and that would be worth maybe 2-3MPH. Without extra boost, maybe 1-2MPH.

Good Launch, but mediocre power. The time is great because he drove it well and/or had good tyres, but you only need about 230-240kW ATW for that MPH with a 135I 6AT which is typical of tune only.

He went overseas on holiday yesterday so can't get the slip till he gets back if he kept it....

The tyres were only RE-11's, but the LSD is what helped. He has previously done 12.6 on race gas, but without LSD and on slightly worse tyres with a 2.0** 60ft.

I just got some tyres so hopefully will head out there to get a time in the next couple weeks!

I'm going to miss my RE-11s, they have been superb on track and I've been happy with them at the drags. Michael is pumping out decent ET's with them too. Which tyres did you go with Richard? I'll have to head out to the drags once I get my meth kit working (one day) as I don't think I'll have the top spot for much longer!

Thanks Matt. I'll make sure I bring around your drum of meth too.

Btw, not sure if anyone is keen to go in a 200L drum of meth as it's less than half price of buying smaller amounts. I've used almost all of mine up on testing my meth kit
