Picking up my new to me white n55 with 99k on it this weekend

Waterpump next weekend out of prevention
I see yall discussing boost gauges
P3
Vent gauges

I'm from 6.0 diesel world where we monitor everything like a hawk
I have an older insight edge not the v2
I assume the p3 reads the pid therefore keep my edge unit

This should still work right?
Runs off the obd2 port
Can set maintenance reminders
Alarms for almost any read out you choose to display

Welcome. No need to watch anything. Just drive. If you are dialing in a tune you would be datalogging and keeping your eyes on the road! These ecus are very safe and will keep an eye on all the stuff you would be watching and will react to any anomalies in the blink of an eye.

Of course I use MHD on a tablet to monitor the car and run virtual gages.

For tuning I live very near TTFS frank smith..I will have it dyno tuned..
I took it to my buddys indy shop today we checked it over..
99k
90percent dry small oil pan leak no biggie
needs a hood cable
front pads
has the BMW Performance exhaust, intake and, tune,
turbo is still shiny.. ( looks new AF)
ran good.
dct was new goofy 10mph dc traffic crawl a little clunky my buddy said thats ok
water pump looks newer..
has cobb charge pipe
Msport.

The edge insight worked fine.. I am going to use it as it suctions and I can use it to setup custom reminders .. water pumps injectors plugs oil what ever i set the intervals at
I can also set alarms if something is outta range alerts me.. I mean I have it and its paid for why not use it.

dct was new to me.. i mean first car with it..

when I do plugs/coils/pads, imma drain all the fluids and start over fresh.
