Instrument cluster

I seen 2 differents instrument cluster (see pic). I prefer the second.

What is the reason ?

I don't know what the pattern is, but I have the top one (lemon interior car)
Perhaps the euro-spec and us-spec are different?

noticed that myself in the owners manual. could it be 330(big) vs 325(small)? not sure.

I just seen on a german forum : 4cylinders small and 6 cylinders big

Somebody can he confirm this ? because in us i think you have only 6

I just seen in the BMW price book, you can only take active cruise control on the 6 cylinders.

I think now, with your help, on 6 cylinders with or without active cruise the car come with the big screen.

Here is my guess.... The instrument clusters are different for diesel vs. gasoline cars. Check out the tachometer in each of the pictures above!
