Metal clanking
I've always had this since i got my 1er used with 25k. I'm now on 2011 msport shocks and eibach springs and the sound is still there, but it isn't any more or less pronounced than it was prior. I can't figure out what it is, whether its the sway bar, or a bushing someplace thats worn. i have about 43k on the car and it's only been lowered for 2000ish miles, if that. I've heard a lot about shops installing FSB's backwards, is this the sound that would indicate that? I don't have a lift to be able to do that myself but i can get it done easily. any and all helps welcome. Many thanks
Edit: to be more specific, its coming from the drivers side front wheel, and it is metal on metal when i hit most of any kind of bump. bigger the bump the louder it is.

My steering pop is bad strut top bearings, and the clanking i believe is my sway bar end links bushings that are worn. I'm replacing all of these plus my front lower control arms with m3 as my stockers had wearing bushings. hopefully i get them installed soon and hopefully it fixes the issue.
