Wow, that's horrible service.
While I am concerned about my headlights, at least I know that it appears to be rather difficult to get into the actual car, let alone steal it. I'm rather hesitant to park my car in Miami now, well a lot more than I was. I don't go there extremely often, and maybe that's why. If it were safer there and people knew how to drive then I'd probably visit more.

I think the cops down here caught a guy who stole the headlights off a 2005 Maxima and put them on Ebay with the caption: "Some tabs may be broken off but otherwise in fairly good condition."!
I don't wish this on anyone:

Xenon theft is nothing new to you guys right? I heard this happening to Nissan and Lexus. I guess in this case it didn't matter how well secured they were. This guy is a savage. The car reminds me of when Neo burned out his eyes.
Actually, this is one awesome reason to order Euro spec. |

this is also a major reason i'm leasing. if something were stolen or the car was in an accident you can just trade it in at the end of the lease and get a new one.

That's horrible... "they pried the headlights out with a crowbar" LEt's see how they feel when someone pried their eyes out.

Wow thats horrible, the thought of stealing Xenons never crossed my mind, I didn't even think its possible, what the hell could they use it for? It looks like the whole harness would be fucked up by the time they got it out of the socket (correct word?), stupid/jealous people =/

All jokes aside, that's total BS. I'd be at a loss for words if I came out to see that. Basically, WTF x10000. Poor bastard, hope he was able to resolve the issue with all the parties involved. ________ Vaporizer Last edited by HappyG; 05-17-2011 at 02:07 AM.. |

The same exact thing happened to me when i had my last car, an 02 nissan maxima. I dont quite understand it in the case of the E90, they were very easy to steal on the maxima.
When it happens you never think of your car the same way again, I got an alarm with a remote and I never felt comfortble parking it anywhere, especially since they took them in my own parking lot at home. Needless to say I got the alarm when i got my E90 and I hope that was just an isolated incident, someone with an E90 without zenons who got the bright idea to get them for free. If this becomes an issue with the E90, i suggest getting the alarm because thieves target cars without an alarm first, after I got the alarm on the nissan it didnt happen again.
