Daily drive the 1er, but after 9 years in a Speed6 maintenance don't scare me. :|
Also have an X1 for The Wife, and a crappy ol Santa Fe that The Kid thinks is his but I think of as the family beater/pick up/tow vehicle/golf cart/tractor/whatever else it needs to be...

When this thread started, I had a Suzuki SUV in addition to my e88 n52. But it's mileage got up there and my son wanted/needed something newer. He likes to work on cars so 150K was newer to him. Anyway, I am down to just the bimmer. That necessitated a hitch but it has been working well as my sole car for over a year. I brought a trolling motor for my new pontoon home in it last week. Had to leave the top down but it worked. I'll probably make a dump run next weekend with the trailer. I also need some hickory for a vanity I want to make so it may make a run up into NC for that (with the trailer).
Even though mine is a 09, driving the Zuk during the week kept my miles down for most of my ownership and it is currently about 82K. My daughter has decided the back seat isn't big enough for my grandson's car seat so I rent something when they visit. Otherwise, the bimmer gets it done for me.

Still my only car. Now have a 6wk old daughter. Carseat and stroller and dog and everything fits fine. Great family car despite only having two doors and 4 seats.

With a household of 5, and three drivers, I have access to:
- My 2011128i - 2013 Honda Odyssey, our primary family/weekend car - 2005 Mercury Milan, my wife's daily - 2005 Toyota Corolla with 285k miles, and - 2006 Acura TSX 6M (my old, just retired daily). My oldest just started driving and will take over driving either the Corolla with auto or the stick shift 2006 Acura TSX 6M. We will be selling the 5th car after she decides if she is going to learn to drive stick to get the Acura, or settle for the Corolla. I should make the BMW my summer only car and use the Odyssey as a winter beater, but I have too much fun in the BMW on a daily basis to let it sit all winter. |

I have a fleet of 5 other vehicles, including my DD, my wife's DD and my two kids DDs. My 1 and my Z are my weekend toys. I do spend a lot of time doing routine maintenance. LOL! I change the oil in all of them. I'm glad I have a set of Race Ramps. I can actually get all my vehicles on the Race Ramps. Glad I sprung for the heavy duty ones.
