Shaking,Vibrating at Idle. Engine Mounts?
My wife's 2011 128i has started shaking (slightly) and vibrating (moderately heavy) when in gear, idling, with foot on brake. While driving, the engine is silky smooth, although the throttle response from stop seems a bit harsh; really snaps your head back without meaning to. The car just hit 60,000miles. Spark plugs and coils were changed about 10,000 miles ago and the car runs great. Has anyone experience a problem like this? Could the engine mounts be bad? Is that a common problem with 1ers? Thanks.

If you don't have an OBD2 scanner, you can take it a local autozone or advance auto and they can read the codes. I had a bad oxygen sensor cause shaking at idle for me.
