Best deal on a 7424xp

Anyone have any recommendations on best overall deal on one of pc7424 buffers? I'd really like to start detailing my own rides and have found these for as low as 109$ but dont know if theres any reason to not buy from them.

Damn,..I had one in perfect cond, and gave it to a buddy of mine for $0.
I broke down and got the flex,....More $$$$ ($299) but worth it.
Porter cable is a nice little machine though,..just takes forever if you have deep swirls or scratches.

I have one just sitting at the house and was only used once on my Subaru so it is basically new. Shoot me a PM if you are wanting to buy it.

2007 BMW 335i  [10.00]
I have been debating getting one as well. It seems like the polish and pads will be an even great expense that the Porter is.

I have looked on eBay and did not really see any great deals, and the cheapest I have seen it is $109 as well. You may be able to find some coupons to bring down the price a bit at some places.

side question:
How much polish does it usually take to do one pass on a car?

side question 2:
what do you need to tape off when polishing?

I have the PC7424 and it works great. Easy to use especially for first timers. I think I read there is a newer model out, so do you research.

Just quick question... sounds like people have moved up from here... should I bother with this one? I dont want to go with something I can do damage with, but I dont want to waste money on something that I wont be able to get the end result I am looking for.

The porter cable will be a great start.
Its going to be a decision you will have to make others have bought the Flex and have love the power increase.

if you plan on doing a ton of work the flex will be better if not the pc will be a great tool.

both are "safe"

LMK if you need any help.

just make sure you do the right calculations.

you have to buy the tool.

then you have add

the correct pads
backing plate
polishes

so if you buy from your sponsor(s) you will get a one stop shop...one shipping rate and the 10% discount and service as well as tech support.

so do the calculations correctly first.

I'm going to say that we are just as competitive.
