A quaife lsd is 1500.00, which I will be getting on my 135i. Procede 1,300.00.

I have the impression the housing is not the same as for the 335, because of the new nifty 135i diff features and construction (roller bearings).

In addition to this, I'm sure you know that post-March 07 production 335's have welded parts in the diff, which means you need to get a stock non-welded diff housing and rings, then install the Quaife in it. This raises the price considerably, to over $3k or more...

Again let's hope the 135i won't get this treatment.

Thatsux.... anyone have prices on labor for the job also.

At least its RWD. Putting a quiafe in a FWD is $$$ (drop, tear apart, rebuild tranny)

Didn't you read the original article...?

They rented an airstrip for the day so that could test their new tune on the 335i for heat soak and codes.

Shiv was testing the thermal properties of his software. No better place than an airstrip and smoking the tires for 3 hours...!

Whats the chances of you doing that to your 3 series..? (or 1 series). He tores the tires off that car..!
