This engine has been out for only a year now. Give it some time, and you will see bigger hp numbers. This engine is no supra engine, but Im sure 500 whp is possible on stock internals. YOu will need to upgrade turbos, intercoolers, fuel pump, injectors etc. It will not be cheap. Have you guys driven a car with 400 whp, that is fast and attainable on stock turbos. You want to hang with a 911 on a straight, buy a used vette and mod it cheap,lol.

i was still expecting more, but after doing some research on my own about options and mods that are available right now for the 335i's N54 there is definately more out there that can be done, i never called it a supra motor, and no i havent drivin in a 400whp car but i have drivin a 670whp escort cosworth when i was back home i know all to well how fast things can pull, and screw a 'vette sorry but i hate domestics i have never owned one and doubt i ever will.

that goes with out saying.......how much HP/TQ is enought in the tunning game????at the end of the day you can't us it on the streets anymore.....I say scew it and have as much fun as you what,just play safe if you do.....I can't wait tell summer time now...hehehehe...

Ive read that an intercooler doesnt actually increase HP, if anythin the increased restrictions decrease it slightly. The benefit is keeping the intake air cooler over longer driving periods, which helps produce consistant power decrease the effects of heat soak. So while a fmic would help its not really a limiting factor speaking of numbers.
